it’s been over a year since i last posted. the hard times got harder, and the capacity i had to write and create ebbed away. over the summer, i spent three months working for buddhafield, and started to find my way back to making.
since then, there have been a few ups and downs, but i am now a month into living in a housing co-op in bristol. it’s been a hard transition, and it’s not perfect - but some steadiness to build foundations from feels good.
i hope that with this steadiness, more openness and availability to share my making process will emerge. for now, i hope you’ll enjoy seeing these pictures of a work in progress - a wall quilt made from all my littlest scraps of plant dyed fabric that i’ve made over the past five years. the most current iteration hangs above my bed, though, i just found some more fabric while unpacking, so, as it is with everything, how it is now will shift and change.
